Cafico International welcomes new senior appointment at Luxembourg office

Cafico International is delighted to welcome Alex Michael as Senior Manager in its Luxembourg office.

Alex will be responsible for managing relationships with clients, advisors, banks, auditors and other stakeholders on the initial implementation of their corporate structures and subsequent ongoing management. He will have oversight over the financial and regulatory reporting for all client companies including preparation of financial statements, central bank reporting, filing with the Luxembourg register of commerce and review and submission of direct and indirect tax returns.

Alex has over 10 years’ experience in the financial services industry, particularly within the alternative funds domain. He has gained versatile expertise in audit and assurance, whilst at PwC in Guernsey, Channel Islands and in fund and financial reporting whilst working for JPMorgan and Aztec Group in Edinburgh and Luxembourg, respectively.

Cafico International was established in Ireland in 2012 and has continued to experience significant organic growth since its establishment. The Luxembourg office of Cafico International, which is headed up by Scott Mckinlay, was authorised in 2019 by the CSSF (Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier) to provide corporate domiciliation services to Cafico International’s clients which include private equity funds, real estate groups, operators in the aircraft leasing industry, publicly listed multinational trading groups as well as the world’s largest investment banks.
