Junior Company Secretary

We're looking for a Junior Company Secretary to join our team. This role will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to work alongside experienced company secretaries on a varied portfolio of clients. Primary Responsibilities

Day to day duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the coordinating and scheduling of Board, Committee and Shareholder meetings.

  • Drafting agendas for meetings and ensuring efficient preparation and distribution of board minutes in both a timely and accurate manner.

  • Drafting board minutes and resolutions and preparing action point lists.

  • Coordinating all statutory and regulatory filings.

  • Maintaining statutory books and records.

  • Responding to queries from clients and service providers.

  • Acting as a channel of communication for the directors and client companies on all matters of company law and corporate governance.

Requirements

  • A corporate secretarial qualification is not necessary however, the candidate must be willing to register for the ICSA/Chartered Governance Institute foundation programme.

  • Strong ability to complete tasks in accordance with guidelines/instructions given.

  • Strong ability to work on his/her own initiative.

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to communicate confidently with senior stakeholders locally and remotely.

  • Excellent IT skills, including Word and Excel.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Qualified to degree level.

  • Ideally, 1 to 2 years administrative experience in the professional or financial services industry
