We're looking for a Junior Company Secretary to join our team. This role will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to work alongside experienced company secretaries on a varied portfolio of clients. Day to day duties include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with the coordinating and scheduling of Board, Committee and Shareholder meetings.
Drafting agendas for meetings and ensuring efficient preparation and distribution of board minutes in both a timely and accurate manner.
Drafting board minutes and resolutions and preparing action point lists.
Coordinating all statutory and regulatory filings.
Maintaining statutory books and records.
Responding to queries from clients and service providers.
Acting as a channel of communication for the directors and client companies on all matters of company law and corporate governance.
A corporate secretarial qualification is not necessary however, the candidate must be willing to register for the ICSA/Chartered Governance Institute foundation programme.
Strong ability to complete tasks in accordance with guidelines/instructions given.
Strong ability to work on his/her own initiative.
Excellent organisational and planning skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to communicate confidently with senior stakeholders locally and remotely.
Excellent IT skills, including Word and Excel.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Qualified to degree level.
Ideally, 1 to 2 years administrative experience in the professional or financial services industry
