We are currently looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant to join our growing team at our offices in Ennis, Co. Clare.
You will become a key part of a well-rewarded team that offers a high standard of financial accounting, regulatory and statutory reporting services to a broad portfolio of international business clients.

Key responsibilities
Accounts receivable
Accounts payable
Comprehensive invoice management, processing and tracking
Bank reconciliations
Preparation of corporate tax returns
Preparation of VAT returns
Responding to queries and dealing with clients in a timely, professional and efficient manner
Providing ad hoc support to senior managers on a range of client related matters
Requirements
2 years+ relevant practical experience in industry or practice
Knowledge of debits and credits
Experience of computerised accounting packages, such as SAGE
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail
Accounting technician or part qualified accountant, an advantage
Must be ambitious and able to work on own initiative
Excellent Word and Excel skills
Versatile team player – flexible, pragmatic, thorough, pro-active and service minded
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a bright and positive outlook
